Concept of Mexicon Males about importance of education

"Too many Mexican males (adults and boys) think they only need to earn enough money for beer and guns. They don't worry about financially supporting their families. As for Mexican females (girls and women), they think an education is unnecessary to be a good mommy and all they need to know is how to sigh their names on the bottom of the welfare forms."This is extremelly ironic, today in Chicago I am hosting a group of students from Israel and Mexico for an international UN model meeting . The school's website is wpcp.org. The High School is number one in the state of Illinois, is public, inner-city and diverse in terms of ethnicity, socio-economics, sex, etc....It is also the top in math, sciences and languages. So much so that the UN Secretary General visited the school this year. I was speaking to the kids from Mexico, who speak English, they said the problems are the following:1.Teachers are paid little, including the ones who have studied in the US and Europe.2.The south of Mexico is neglected forgotten, in contrast to the northern region.3. There are public schools in Mexico where they actually teach the majority of their classes in English; and where a second language is required for graduation; however these are unique schools created by the cities. And the federal gov. has not noticed and invested more, in order to provide everyone with these type of schools, not only the few. People in every country want a top-notch education. Get your ignorant, racist, assuming mind out of the gutter which thinks that Mexicans only want guns, liqour, babies, and everything free. I would assume that this would be good news; however now I have seen that there still remain people in the US who are anti-Mexican no matter what. That mind set which you beleive in is backwards and now I can see why California schools are regarded as backwards.
